In January 2023, I was a presenter at the world’s largest water sports trade fair boot D\u00fcsseldorf<\/a>. On seven of the nine days, I presented on the stage of the Sailing Centre in Hall 15. <\/p>\n

The topics were varied: Among other things, I interviewed the young sailors for the Transat Jacques<\/a> <\/a>Vabre – <\/a>Melwin Fink and Lennart Burkespoke with long-distance sailors from <\/a>Blauwasser.de<\/a>about their experiences while travelling and learned from <\/a>Ocean-Advocate Emily Penn<\/a>more about their initiatives for a plastic-free ocean<\/a>. <\/p>\n

A total of almost 240,000 water sports enthusiasts visited the trade fair in D\u00fcsseldorf. The programme ran daily from 10.00 to 18.00 on the stage in the Sailing Center. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Reverse Raccoon<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Under the brand “Reverse Raccoon” I write reports about my sailing experiences. I report on everything that has already happened to me. It starts with an engine failure in a storm on the way to the Flensburg Fjord, continues with a lost propeller in the Strelasund and ends with my experiences during my first Altantik crossing or my Yachtmaster Offshore exam. <\/p>\n

In addition, my constant companion Captain Riesling tells his stories on the pages of the Reverse Raccoon. The teddy bear in his captain’s uniform tells children about his adventures and what he has learnt from them. <\/p>\n

BUSS Group <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I was able to win the Buss Group <\/a> for the collaboration in spring 2022. Since then, the Head of Corporate Communications, Linda Salicka, has regularly engaged me. I write and edit texts for the various business areas of the Buss Group. These include guest articles in magazines, texts for the employee magazine and press releases. <\/p>\n

Thematically, my work is orientated towards the wide-ranging activities of the Buss Group and its business areas. <\/p>\n

With around 500 employees, the Buss Group<\/a> operates in the business areas of port logistics, wind energy, gas and hydrogen, logistics real estate, shipping and investments. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With NPDG<\/a> I have been working very closely and trustingly since summer 2021. After successfully presenting   the new e-bus for Pellworm at a press and citizens’ day at the end of August 2021, I took over the concept for the open ship of the new ferry MS RUNGHOLT in 2022. 
I also support Sven Frener and his team in all areas of public relations. If required, I write press releases and speeches and provide advice and support. In spring 2022, I trained the team in the use of social media and took over some of the social media management. 
I also dealt with the renewal of the cash register regulations and conducted a safety briefing for staff in late summer 2022. The NPDG operates the ferry between Nordstrand and the island of Pellworm. 
In addition, with the MS NORDFRIESLAND Excursions in North Friesland<\/a>  and operates the bus service on Pellworm. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I worked as a freelance author for the Ebner Media Group’s “Segeln” magazine. As soon as I had an idea for a topic, I presented it to the editor-in-chief and was then tasked with researching and writing the article. In 2022, I published an article in “Segeln” about my Atlantic crossing in January and a travelogue about a trip to Croatia. <\/p>\n

Like other magazines in the boating sector, \u201cSegeln\u201d<\/a> is part of the the Ebner Media Group<\/a>. For PCO or private owners who charter their sailing yachts through PCO, I provide the charter service. Together with two friends, I am responsible for all takeovers and handovers of boats to and from charter customers. If we discover defects on the boats, we carry out minor repairs ourselves; for larger defects, we organise the appropriate professional.<\/p>\n

PCO – Privat Charter Ostsee<\/a> brokers charter boats at a variety of locations on the Baltic Sea. The charter contracts are always concluded between the charter customer and the boat owners, PCO only acts as an agent.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

During the Shippax Ferry Conference 2022, I took over the social media management. During the two-day conference, I posted on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. I reported on the contents of the conference and presented the contents of the meeting of the ferry industry. <\/p>\n

The Shippax Ferry Conference<\/a> has taken place annually on a two-day ferry trip since 2003.
